The Wymondham Art Society website is a small information only website with a "Contact Us" facility.

1. The Information We Collect and How this is Achieved

We collect the personal information you provide to us, including email address, in the form of emails via the Contact Form. This information also goes to the Secretary for actioning.  We also collect non-personally identifiable statistical data via cookies.

 

2. Why We Collect Data

We collect the personal information that you provide to enable an appropriate response to your queries, and to enable the effective management of the Society.  The small and basic amount of statistical, non-personally identifiable collected is used to understand and improve the website, and to learn more about interest in the Society.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

This website is hosted by Wix's highly secure platform, and a password and Norton protected pc, through which some information will pass. Please note that transmission of data on the internet can never be guaranteed as totally secure.

Queries via the Contact Form go straight to the Secretary, though a copy is kept for a short time on the website.  The Secretary, or the Webmaster, may if necessary and there is legal or legitimate interest, share this information with Society Officers, eg Treasurer or Chairman.  Personal information held by the Committee is not circulated.

4. Communication

The Society may contact you via the information you have provided on the Contact Form if it is necessary to do so.

The website host, Wix, uses cookies, small pieces of temporary computer code put onto your computer, to improve the website usage for all, to monitor and analyse the performance of the Wix platform and to ensure that the platform is safe and secure to use. In addition analytics cookies collect non-personally identifiable information such as number of users, a vague location by town or city, and website usage.

 

6. Withdrawing Consent

If you no longer wish for the Society to hold your personal data or you wish to view or amend it, please contact the Secretary by way of the Contact Form.  The majority of non-essential cookies can be blocked through use of our Cookie Banner selections.  Further action can be taken through options in your browser "settings".
